In Sea Corn Base, with its many training camps grouped into a Training Camp Association, Hai Daxiu is the association\'s president and the actual ruler of Sea Corn Base.

Only Hai Daxiu had the authority to mobilize the Ascenders of Sea Corn Base, and Instructor Mu had some ties with her, so persuading Hai Daxiu to step in wasn\'t difficult.

After all, this was Sea Corn Base. The Wan Family\'s members acting recklessly, killing at will – as the ruler of Sea Corn Base, Hai Daxiu couldn\'t just stand by and let this happen.

After Instructor Mu met with Hai Daxiu, things went quite smoothly. Hai Daxiu had long been aware of Wan Guotao\'s situation and had been intending to see him.

The reason she had waited until now without visiting was that she was waiting for Instructor Mu to come to her.

"I can help you, but I have a condition," Hai Daxiu said to Instructor Mu with a smile.

"The Asura Training Camp is yours." Instructor Mu knew what Hai Daxiu wanted and didn\'t wait for her to say anything, handing over the deed to the training camp directly to her.

He had already made his decision when he went to find Hai Daxiu.

"Alright, let\'s go then," Hai Daxiu said without wasting words, leading her people to the guesthouse where Lin Shen and his group were staying.

Instructor Mu was no longer in a position to come forward and could only wait for Hai Daxiu to return.

After a long wait, Hai Daxiu finally came back, but her expression seemed somewhat off.

"I can\'t accept your training camp," Hai Daxiu said, returning the deed to Instructor Mu.

"What do you mean?" Instructor Mu didn\'t take it, frowning at Hai Daxiu.

He didn\'t believe that Hai Daxiu couldn\'t handle even a Wan Guotao. With Hai Daxiu\'s power, even if she beat up Wan Guotao today, the Wan Family couldn\'t do much about it.

Instructor Mu thought that Hai Daxiu had taken a larger benefit from the Wan Family and that\'s why she was letting him go unchecked.

Hai Daxiu discerned Instructor Mu\'s thoughts and sighed, "Old Mu, you\'re mistaken. If I accept your training camp, I wouldn\'t give a second glance to anyone else\'s offer, no matter how great."

"Then why aren\'t you intervening? Are you still the Hai Daxiu of Sea Corn Base or not?" Instructor Mu asked, puzzled.

"Aside from Wan Guotao and another Ascender, the Wan Family has twelve other Ascenders outside the base, including Wan Shuiliu. The Wan Family is determined to get the Lin Siblings and would not hesitate to start a war over it. They\'re serious, not joking," Hai Daxiu sighed. "Old Mu, you should understand my dilemma. If a war starts, regardless of victory or defeat, the cost would be too great.

I cannot wage war with the Wan Family over the Lin Siblings."

Instructor Mu\'s expression turned grave, "The Wan Family has brought fourteen Ascenders, even Wan Shuiliu, just for the Lin Siblings? How is that possible?"

"It\'s just two Mutators. I don\'t think it\'s necessary either, but they have indeed come. The twelve Ascenders including Wan Shuiliu are just outside the base. They haven\'t entered Sea Corn Base out of respect for me. What can I do? We can\'t really go to war with the Wan Family, can we?

We can\'t let so many people die over two individuals," Hai Daxiu said helplessly.

Instructor Mu also knew it was impossible to expect Hai Daxiu to go to war over Lin Shen and Lin Miao, so he left her place.

With some inquiries, he quickly confirmed what Hai Daxiu had said—the Wan Family\'s twelve Ascenders were stationed just outside the base and weren\'t difficult to find.

"You rascals, just how did you manage to anger the Wan Family!" Instructor Mu was worrying when Goddess Consort Bai arrived at the training camp.

"Instructor, what happened on Lin Shen\'s end?" Goddess Consort Bai knew something but wasn\'t clear on the details.

"I haven\'t figured it out myself yet. All I know for now is that Lin Miao and Wan Nianbei of the Wan Family were together before and later separated due to the Wan Family\'s opposition. Recently, Wan Nianbei failed in Ascension and died. The Wan Family\'s people suddenly came looking for the Lin Siblings, demanding something from them, and for this, they did not hesitate to deploy fourteen Ascenders.

Now, twelve are outside the base, including Wan Shuiliu..." Instructor Mu repeated the events in detail.

"Just give them what they want," said Bai Shenfei, her complexion changing upon hearing that the Wan Family had dispatched fourteen Ascenders.

"It\'s not a matter of giving or not giving; the Wan Family is determined to take the lives of the Lin siblings," explained Instructor Mu, feeling helpless.

"Where are Lin Shen and Lin Miao now?" asked Bai Shenfei after a moment of thought.

"They should have Teleporters on them. I\'m not sure to which planet they teleported, but for the time being, they\'ve saved their lives. However, as you know, the Teleporters on the mother planet are time-limited, and they will have to come back eventually. Wan Guotao and another Ascender from the Wan Family are waiting at the spot where they teleported away.

Once they return, their death will be inevitable."

After hearing this, Bai Shenfei turned and walked away. Instructor Mu called after her, "Where are you going?"

"I need to go back to my family\'s house," replied Bai Shenfei before she quickly left the training camp.

After leaving the training camp, Bai Shenfei immediately departed from Sea Corn Base and rushed back to the Bai Family overnight, in hopes of using the Bai Family\'s power to persuade the Wan Family to spare the Lin siblings\' lives.

Upon hearing what Bai Shenfei reported, Family Head Bai Jingxing looked at her and asked, "Have you made a choice for Lin Shen?"

"Yes," replied Bai Shenfei without hesitation.

She knew that only by doing so was there a chance that Bai Jingxing might intervene to save Lin Shen.

"Consider someone else; no one can save his life," said Bai Jingxing.

"Why? If the Wan Family wants something, why not just give it to them?" Bai Shenfei was shocked, having not expected even Bai Jingxing to say that the siblings\' lives could not be saved.

"I know a bit about Wan Nianbei\'s situation. The thing must be returned, and the Wan Family certainly won\'t let the Lin siblings off," Bai Jingxing explained.

"Why?" Bai Shenfei asked, puzzled.

"Wan Nianbei caught the eye of a Princess from the Di Man Tribe. After her Ascension, she was to go to the Di Man Tribe and become that Princess\'s favored concubine. The Wan Family did not ask for Wan Nianbei\'s consent and was keen on facilitating this matter. However, Wan Nianbei had already favored someone else, presumably Lin Shen\'s older sister.

With Wan Nianbei\'s talent and abilities, it\'s impossible for her Ascension to fail. Anybody could guess that the only reason for her failure was that she\'d rather die than be forced into the Di Man Tribe," he said.

"So the reason the Wan Family dispatched so many Ascenders, determined to put the Lin siblings to death, is because of that Di Man Princess?" Bai Shenfei, having understood, felt despair.

"It must be related to that Di Man Princess; otherwise, why would the Wan Family make such a grand move over such a trivial Lin Family? They are merely ensuring that the Di Man Princess has not even the slightest dissatisfaction. The world is this cruel. A mere whim of the powerful can cost the weak their lives, or even the lives of their entire clan.

Remember, only by becoming stronger can we control our destiny and not end up as ants trampled under the feet of the mighty," Bai Jingxing said indifferently. "Regardless, the fate of the Lin siblings is sealed. Ouyang Yudu is a great choice. You\'ve been at the Base Mutation level long enough; it\'s time for you to break through."

Bai Shenfei fell silent, wanting to save Lin Shen but not knowing how.

If it were just one Ascender, she might risk everything in a fight, but no one stood a chance against fourteen Ascenders from the Wan Family.

After some thought, Bai Shenfei turned to leave.

She was headed to Dark Bird Base to try her luck, for now, only Lin Xiangdong might have the ability to save Lin Shen and the others.

She knew of the incident where Lin Xiangdong had destroyed the Life Bases of five Ascenders from Wanderer Base with a single strike; there might be a slim chance.

The critical issue was that at this juncture, apart from Lin Xiangdong, it was impossible to ask anyone else to intervene.

Only the major interstellar families had the power to stop the Wan Family.

But no major family would go to war with the Wan Family over the Lin siblings.
